I do a lot of military scrapbooking…so most of site I get scrapbook supplies from at military ones…
Creatingmilitarymemories.com is a popular one for me…or SGTGrit is another good one…
otherwise…i just go the the company website…such as I really like K & Company…so i just go to the website and order from there….otherwise…I go to JoAnnFabrics.com….they ‘almost always’ have a 40% off one regular priced item coupon that you can use…so its kinda ano brainer to order at least one thing from there…not sure what shipping charges are though b/c they have s tore near to me, so i actually do in-store scrapbook shopping (and still use the coupon b/c its in their weekly flyer)…

What’s the best way to scrapbook newspaper articles without them getting ruined?

I have four years worth of newspaper articles for very succesful basketball and football seasons (much more newspaper articles than your average team…). I’m trying to put them in a scrapbook or memory book for Christmas, but I don’t want to ruin the articles or make them look messy. What’s the best way to go about doing this?
Also, obviously, the quickest & easiest way to get it done, and does anyone have any layout ideas for sports pictures, admissions tickets, rosters, field passes, articles, etc.?

Ideas for film project?

A very broad assignment, we can make a film and write an apologia, or do something creative like a star scrapbook or a film blog and an apologia, or come up with someone totally on our own. It is just to express ourselves, so any ideas?
I know this description is vague.

my suggestions:

film blog – watch a movie at the theatre for the first time, and talk to a camera in the lobby on your initial reaction and a review on it. or maybe a DVD at home. it should be a movie you’ve seen for the very first time.

star scrapbook – a compilation of your favorite actor, and the narrative (you talking in the background, but have the movie audio still hearable) about what you like about the actor

picture montage of a loved one who passed away

you or a friend dancing

Scrapbookers/card makers, could you give me some adhesive advice?

I like to make postcards by joining two same-size pieces of paper together so that they form basically one card. Obviously the adhesive I use will have to be strong, and I would especially not want the edges to come apart after they have been joined. What adhesive do you recommend for this application?
It should read, "I would like to make postcards…"
Cardstock is fine, but I still want to be able to affix other pages to it (to add pictures, for example). Hope that clears it up.
I didn’t actually mean regular paper, I was thinking of thicker paper like cardstock. But I still want to glue two pieces together.

I make a lot of regular cards in invitations, where I do not want a layer to come apart I have found that Mono Adhesive, Permanent Applicator, Refillable or Mono Aqua Liquid Glue work the best. The first is like a tape the second it a glue, I choose depending on how heavy the paper/stock is I am using. If the paper is thinner the Liquid Glue is not a good choice as it can "wave" the paper. Both have play time for repositioning but become permant in 24 – 72 hours.

Beading is a great beginning craft. their are many books on the shelf. its not nearly as expensive either. You can order beads and books from fire mountain and gems.com. Thwy are on awesome source.
